Joyce Hazeldine (Amelia Bullmore, Twenty Twelve) moves to the country with her husband Jeremy. They enjoy the quiet life, and Jeremy who is a policeman is impressed with the low crime rate. However, under the veneer of meticulously kept cleanliness and order looms a world of violent crime organised by two rival gangs of local housewives. With few scruples and an arsenal of small arms they fight over their home turf, the town of Little Stempington.
The programme consists of fourteen episodes. The humor of the series is driven by the reversal of usual roles. Farcical elements, sexual innuendo and the constant need for conspiracy and cover-ups that comes with a life of crime make this show a fast paced and lively piece of entertainment.
